this character is p old but they finally have a name and a final design

they’re an organic alien robot thing called a Botaniak that produces cells that they use to create those little beads in their body that keep the electric signals connected so they can control all the cells. and they can also produce armor that is as flexible as cartilage and strong as bone.
the armor never looks the same each time it's generated, and old damaged armor is just shed off and regrown if need be
